Time flies. In two months, she’ll be two! I took this picture when she was six months old. Before I gave birth to her, I looked for a name that had to do with something about being a warrior of God.
My husband came to me and said, “my mother will name her.” And honestly, as much as I loved to name her, I also wanted to honor my husband’s wishes.
This whole story’s beauty was the name my mother-in-law picked was a great woman in Islam who also happened to be a warrior.
How wonderful, my Allah, God! I chose to honor my mother-in-law to make my husband happy and to win Allah’s happiness then Allah beautifully filled my wish!
