“I don’t have time” seems to be the mantra of a lot of people these days.

We have so many hopes and dreams but can’t seem to find the time in our busy schedules to actually pursue what we want.

We all theoretically want to gain knowledge, memorize Quran, develop healthier habits, etc. But we…

Don’t have time.

The Prophet (ﷺ) has a beautiful and well-known hadith that provides a succinct and simple answer to this time problem. He said, “The most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that are continuous, even if they are few.”

Every sustainable goal starts with a small, consistent step.

No matter what the diet pill ads tell you, you won’t lose that extra 15 pounds in 3 days.

You won’t become a scholar in a month. You won’t memorize the entire Quran in your sleep.

Allah (SWT) loves deeds that are consistent. So instead of making huge goals and then giving up because you haven’t accomplished them in a week, be consistent.

— Muhammad Alshareef

May Allah make his grave full of light upon light, spacious and filled with angels who convey nothing but peace to you, my dear teacher!
