With kicks
the discomfort of pain
Non-endless of a sleepless night
And pain you must endure
that one can compare to none
Or, for a moment
would you give up
the precious life
of yours for mine?
Only the one
from the One Above the heavens
The irreplaceable one
My beloved mother
only she can!
Here’s a glance at her soul:
She loved honoring her guest
With love, respect to please Allah
even the whole world to this they attest
Prayer is what she chose over materials
richness, and any worldly gain
The mosque- where she loved to serve
it was her number one favorite place
And what you know
about her last state?
She was in the ICU
in her final days
With seizure
migrating through her mind,
Allah is whom she praised!
I asked her: “mom, do you know me,”
and she replied:
Uttering the Praises of Allah
I remember
when the angel of death took her
The imam gave her a white cloth
from the mosque
It seemed as Allah sent her a gift
from His house to cover her precious soul
What a mighty decree that was!
And what you know about her last advice?
A message she left for me
to carry on
and serve humanity with honor,
Above it love,
Above it respect for the sake to please God alone
Forever an echo of her voice will live in my works
O Allah make me her wheel
To do all that she pleases
Because to me, she has been,
The irreplaceable one!
