Nothing can dare to overcome you.
As the delivery time neared for baby number six, I told myself, Zahra, you are STRONG — you can pop this baby out in no time! Boy, was I dead wrong!
But one will only live by what Allah (God) decrees for him/her. We aren’t the directors of our story.
The moment came to see my son finally. But I had lost all my energy from the COUNTLESS pushes.
I entered a world of no more breaths, at my weakest point, and all I could hear was the nurse screaming at my face saying, “He has his umbilical cord wrapped around on his neck if you don’t push this baby out, his heart will drop.”
I looked above, and I said my LORD, YOU ARE MY STRENGTH.
One of the nurses who helped me in the process was from Egypt, there are hundreds of countries she could have been from, but this was special for me to connect the dots. The signs are for those who have faith! It rang a bell: Allah put her there so I may remember-much prophet Musa may peace of God be upon him!
Allah opened the ocean for him when he was escaping Pharo, where there seemed to be nowhere out. I knew with certainty; my Allah will make a way out for me just as he did for Prophet Musa. As I got ready to do another push, he came out without my need to push.
Allah was enough for him to come out. He is the owner of STRENGTH. There is no strength in us except that which HE gift us with.
To you warriors, I say, sometimes some storms hit us, and it’s meant to be fought by God alone, so don’t fight it. Hand it to Him. And who can ever dare to overcome the Most Powerful of all strengths God’s?
